1463703 Vertical slat blind FRANCIAFLEX 17 Jan 1974 [17 Jan 1973] 02157/74 Heading E1J The pinion 7 of a worm and pinion operable vertical slat blind is not connected directly to the slat's suspension rod 19 but is spring-loaded into engagement with a collar 15 secured rod, the engaging faces of the pinion and collar having interengageable projections and recesses 10, 11, 13 and 14 whereby rotation of the pinion rotates the collar (and thus the slat 17) until an abutment 16 on the collar 15 contacts a fixed stop 26. The pinion can then continue to rotate, the projections 10 riding up out of the recesses 14 against the spring action.
