<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitance sensor which is usable for non-conductive as well as conductive members to be worked by modifying the capacitance sensor installed on a nozzle body to be used for laser machining. SOLUTION: A center electrode is arranged in the circumference of a nozzle, in an insulated state and a guard electrode in the circumference of eth center electrode in an insulated state. A lead bar is installed with one end face thereof facing the center electrode separated by a specified space distance while the other end face thereof is higher than the tip face of the nozzle. When the other end face of the lead bar contacts work, the distance between the work and the tip of the nozzle is measured based on changes in static electricity generated corresponding t the changes in the space distance between the one end face of the lead bar and the center electrode.</p> |
