Information recording and processing system - has control terminal for input of taxation data and logic member and multiplexer

The information processing system is especially designed for tax collection data associated with the assessment of tariff computation required in distribution of goods at bars, luncheon cafes, post offices, newsagents etc. It comprises a control terminal (TC), console desk (PPI), central record interrogator (EC), synchronised logic circuit coupler, data printer (IPE), and a data effacement unit (CIE) with an associated interface unit (II). After the required data have been transferred to the memory unit the records from the terminal are erased, the erasure being designated by a special character mark. The coupling between the various units includes a multiplexer.
