<p>The pincers have coiled metal band (5) and wire (3) magazines for the placement and fastening of support slings for saplings. The tool fabricates a sleeve of metal band (5) which secures the two ends of the binding wire (3). The wire (3) has an elastic central core with external inverse helical windings of twisted wire. The tool has a long (1) and a short (6) lever arm sprung apart. The wire and band magazines (2, 4) are secured to the base of the long arm (1). A wire strainer (37) is fixed to the top end of the long arm. Mobile (7) and static wire cutters (8) are fixed to the lever arms. The metal band is advanced by an ascending blade spring (9) with a non-return stop (10). The sleeve fastener is formed by the hollow cylindrical mobile cutter, with its negative cutting edge, rotating about a similar static cutter.</p> |
