Drinking saucer is for chickens, turkeys etc., having a vessel (1) for mounting on a support, and supplied with water by a pipe (4) via a mouthpiece (15). A bowl (11) rocks about one edge on a horizontal axis in a supporting portion of the vessel near the mouthpiece, and is submerged in the vessel, with which it is connected by one or more holes (13). A seal (14) is mounted on the outside of the bowl wall opposite the mouthpiece, which it can shut off. The vessel, the water supply pipe and the bowl support can be in one piece and of plastic.
