The adjustable headlamp mounting has a recessed casing (C) carrying a welded internally threaded nut (100). A plate (P) fixed to the headlamp unit (BO) has a circular hole which carries a nylon sleeve (120). The sleeve has a central hole through which passes a bolt (110) with an enlarged head (111). The end of the bolt screws into the nut and the bolt head is secured to the sleeve by a spring clip (130) which locates in an outside groove in the sleeve. A spring (160) between the casing and inside sleeve face holds the assembly tight against the shoulder of the bolt head.
