PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording and reproducing device that uses a laser emitted from an optical pickup to record a signal onto a disk. SOLUTION: In the optical disk recording and reproducing device that is configured to record a signal onto a disk which is provided with a trial write area, a buffer area, a read-in area, a program area and a read-out area from the inner circumference to the outer circumference of the disk and rotated at a constant angular velocity, a test signal is recorded onto outer circumferential areas at the outside of the trial write area and of the read-out area and the recorded test signal is reproduced, and thus a laser output value is set. |
