PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device having no image defect caused by end fogging by controlling the feed interval of a recording medium individually without lowering the productivity in image formation. SOLUTION: In this image forming device, plural recording media are successively carried to a transfer position put between an image carrier and a transfer member to which bias voltage is applied, and toner images successively formed on the image carrier are successively transferred and fixed. The device is equipped with a transfer current detection means for detecting a current flowing between the image carrier and the transfer member, a bias voltage control means for applying the bias voltage adjusted based on the detected current to the transfer member and a timing control means for controlling timing to carry the plural recording media to the transfer position. |
