<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which can perform satisfactory recoding operation, when a decoding image signal, which is edited in such a way that decoded image signals which are output from a plurality of image-signal decoding devices and on which each encoding parameter before a decoding operation is superposed are changed over, is re-encoded. SOLUTION: In an encoding-information generation circuit 52, information in a decoding-device discriminating signal memory 51 in which a value (decoder ID), indicating the discrimination of a decoding device itself is recorded in addition to image encoding parameters and macroblock encoding parameters. The information is formatted to a bit pattern to be stored in an encoding information memory 42. In an encoding-information superposing circuit 43, image information which is stored in an output frame memory 39 and encoding parameters as encoding information which is stored in the encoding information memory 42 are input, and encoding parameters are superposed on the LSB bit of the color difference signal of the image information.</p> |
