PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a certain gear change regulation between a forward gear and a reverse gear with a simple and compact constitution and a good operational ease. SOLUTION: A multi-stage gear change series 36 including the forward gear and the reverse gear is formed between a counter shaft 30 and a drive shaft 31 parallel with a crank shaft 22, a forward gear shift cam 51 changing and controlling the forward gear and a reverse gear shift cam 57 changing and controlling the reverse gear are parallel and closely arranged, a notch 77 of circular arc shape is formed at midway of a flange 78 integrally formed at the circumference of the forward gear shift can, a projection part 79 of tongue shape matching the notch 77 is formed at the circumference of the reverse gear shift cam 57, the reverse gear shift cam 57 may revolve to the reverse position only when the forward gear shift cam 51 revolves to the neutral position and the circumferential positions of the notch part 77 and the projection part 79 are set to prevent the forward gear shift cam 51 from revolving to the position other than the neutral position when the reverse gear shift, cam 57 revolves to the reverse position. |
