摘要 <p>The coolant flows through the cooling channels to absorb heat from the windings and deliver it to a recooling plant. A convection flow is generated in each of the closed cooling channels. This forms a thermosiphon by heat losses continuously generated in operation owing to radiation through thermal insulation, and to thermal conduction through the driving shaft. Coolant circulation is increased by centrifugal forces applied to it. Coolant in each of the channels is under supercritical pressure, and convection heat is delivered to a coolant bath boiling at normal pressure. It is integral with the rotating magnets, and liquid coolant is fed to it at normal pressure, while evaporated coolant is removed from it.</p>
