Displacement of a body or a load is achieved through a device which contains a reference element (13) which gives and receive energy and supplies a reference speed. A control elements (15) delivers effective energy and a speed which may be altered in the range of the reference speeds. A combination medium (18) couples these elements and the main shaft and carries through the algebraic difference between the alterable speed and the reference speed so that the shaft rotates in a direction corresp. to the sign of the difference and at a speed corresp. to the absolute difference.
