In a system of self-guiding vehicles, safety equipment is provided, such that the vehicles are equipped with a transmitter and a receiver loop (1), part of which has two parallel sections running (11, 12) next to each other. The sections are shielded from one another by a coating, thin sheet, plate, or similar materials. One of the sections may have a shielding sheath. By this means, both sections can lie in the same channel and thus reduce the costs of installations. An unshielded section (14) may simultaneously form part of a transmitter loop (6).
