<p>The two hydraulic dampers (12, 13) at opposite ends of the same axle are controlled for height using a central control. This controls the combined setting w.r.t. a load sensor (10). It also blocks the line between the elements if one is deflected more than the other, e.g. on slopes. The combined control operates by a simple array of non-return valves. The riding height is increased by two non-return valves (6, 5) between the supply pressure (1) and each element. The return flow is regulated by two further non-return valves (8, 7) set in opposition to each other and which block the line between the elements. A single non-return valve (9) operates the return flow from both elements in response to deflections of the riding height monitor (10).</p> |
