<p>Prepn. of a ClO2-contg. soln. takes place by passing a NaClO2 soln. through a bed of acid-based synthetic cation exchanger resin and removing the ClO2-contg. soln. formed. Pref. the resin is a sulphonated crosslinked polystyrene. and the NaClO2 concn. is 0.5-10 (1) % to yield ClO2 concn. 0.38-7.1 (0.75)%. ClO2 soln. formed is ready for use and free from impurities, e.g. NaCl. Process requires no dosage. All Cl is converted to ClO2.</p> |
