<p>The powered mine support formed from a floor bar (1), roofbar (3), linkage and prop leg (6) as in P2431740. The linkage for the roofbar movement is formed from two rods (7, 8) forming a scissor arrangement. One rod (8) is hinged to the joint (2) and the second rod (7) hinged to the floor bar. The two rods are hinged together where they intersect (14) and preferably the lower free end of the first rod (8) slides along the floor bar, the upper free end of the second rod (7) sliding along on the joint component (2) above. The joint (2) is a hollow member containing an adjustable telescoping beam (4) which in turn carries the support roofbar (3).</p> |
