<p>A differential press. gauge operates the rake when a certain differential has been reached, and switches over a higher raking speed if the differential still rises. Device is simple and trouble free and provides completely automatic operation. Two hydrostatic press. pickups are arranged in the channel with the bar screen and rake, driven by a motor. When the upstream water level rises above the downstream level contacts in a U-type manometer and bridged over and the motor is switched on. When the press. differential rises high enough to close the contacts the motor is switched over to a higher speed.</p> |
