<p>An advertisement distribution system comprising settlement terminals (4) that can settle commodities prices or service charges, receive card-type recording media (40) provided thereon with rewritable display portions (46), perform a prescribed processing required for the settlement, and update for recording the display portions (46), and an advertisement distributing server computer (1) that has an advertisement database storing therein advertisement data, is connected data-communicably to the settlement terminals (4), and distribute the stored advertisement data to the settlement terminals (4), wherein the terminals (4) update for recording the contents of the display portions (46) of the received card-type recording media (40) to advertisement contents based on advertisement data distributed from the advertisement distributing server computer (1).</p> |
