PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic system which can selectively use many functions with a small number of input-output terminals by selecting a necessary functional block from among a plurality of functional blocks, and to provide a method of manufacturing the system. SOLUTION: This electronic system is provided with an input-output terminal 101 which is connected to an external circuit, functional blocks 102a-102c, such as a DRAM, flash ROM, ASIC, etc., and a switching circuit 103 which is a two-way analog switch that switchably connects the functional blocks 102a-102c to the input-output terminal 101. The system is also provided with a function selecting terminal 104 which gives a signal indicating one of the functional blocks 102a-102c to be connected to the terminal 101 to the switching input of the switching circuit 103. Since the necessary functional block is connected to the input-output terminal 101 based on the input to a function selecting terminal 104, many functions can be used selectively with a small number of input- output terminals. |
