ANNOUNCEMENT UNIT OF UMTS SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE: An announcement unit of UMTS(Universal Mobile Telecommunication System) system is provided to simplify a configuration management of a hardware by simplifying a function of an announcement unit and mixedly using a database without dividing the database into a fixed type and an editing type. CONSTITUTION: A message storing unit(304) stores an announcement message inputted from an external source. A message transmitting/receiving matching unit(302) converts a data transmitted after being read from the message storing unit into a serial data and outputs it, when an upper processor requests transmission of an announcement message. A message inherent information storing unit(306) holds position information and message size information of a plurality of announcement messages stored in the message storing unit and outputs information on a message when the message is requested to be transmitted. A controller(300) searches position information and size information of each phoneme according to a pattern data for a message transmission from the message inherent information storing unit and forms an arrangement of them and transmits them to the upper processor through the message transmitting/receiving matching unit(302), when an announcement message transmission request is received from the upper processor.
