A method for the transmission of multiplexed transducer output signals over noise prone transmission lines using frequency modulation and suitable bandpass filters at the receiving end is significantly less noise sensitive than comparable methods of transmission. A supply voltage Ue is fed to a number of amplitude modulating transducers each of which drives an individual voltage to a frequency converter. Each of these produces a signal within a particular bandwidth, and these signals are added before being applied to the transmission line. At the receding end, four corresponding bandpass filters process the incoming signals and supply four frequency 6 voltage converter units. An evaluation unit or a set of such units is then used for the interpretation of the incoming signals. Slightly different alternative networks, using frequency modulated transducers and frequency dividers at the input to the transmission system are also briefly described.
|
