PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve business efficiency by shortening the time required for reading the coupon discounting information having a commodity code of the commodity to be coupon-discounted and a discounting sum of money. SOLUTION: A two-dimensional code containing at least one or more pieces of coupon discounting information and functioning as a coupon ticket is displayed at a display part of a portable electronic terminal, and the two-dimensional code is read by a POS terminal (Y in S1). The commodity code of the commodity to be coupon-discounted in the read two-dimensional code and the input commodity code are collated (S5), and when it is determined that the input commodity code corresponds to one commodity code of the commodities to be coupon-discounted contained in the read two-dimensional codes (Y in S6), discounting is executed (S9). Thus, even if the plurality of pieces of coupon discounting information are possessed, coupon-discounting can be performed by one reading operation, so that the time required for reading the coupon discounting information can be shortened so as to improve the business efficiency. |
