A dimensioning information searching method and an apparatus thereof for providing a range search using a shortcut key are provided to request a search by using a shortcut key mapped by each search range through internet. If a web server recognizes clearly the connection of an internet support terminal(410), a data processing part transmits an initial connection screen and a search range shortcut key mapping information to the internet support terminal(420). If the data processing part receives the hot key information corresponding to the search range and the search word, the data processing part determines whether the search range which is selected by using the hot key information which is delivered(430). A search execution part extracts a search result about a search word in the discriminated search range(440).
