<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To investigate novel polysaccharides included in mushroom to find out physiological activities of the polysaccharides, and use the activities as pharmaceutical agents or health foods. <P>SOLUTION: The novel polysaccharide contains 0.5-3.0 molar ratio glucose, 0.7-1.5 molar ratio galactose, 0.1-1.0 molar ratio glucuronic acid, 0.2-1.5 molar ratio 6-deoxy-D-altrose and 0.05-0.5 molar ratio mannose based on the constituent saccharides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
