PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel filter device capable of easily assuring a check valve arrangement space without increasing the number of component elements.SOLUTION: A fuel filter device 10 comprises: a bag-like filter member 14 for filtering fuel sucked into a fuel pump 41; an inner frame member 16 for holding the filter member 14 in its expanded state; and a fixing member 18 connected to the inner frame member 16 and communicating an inner space 27 of the filter member 14 with the surrounding area. A valve chamber 44 is formed by the inner frame member 16 and the fixing member 18. Within the valve chamber 44 is arranged a check valve 12 for preventing inverse flow of fuel. The check valve 12 is provided with an elastic flat-shaped plate valve main body 52. The check valve 12 is opened against its weight when the fuel pump 41 is operated, and in turn when the fuel pump 41 is stopped for operation, the valve is closed by its own weight.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
