A method for testing a matrix type magazine provides a matrix type tool magazine having a plurality of tool storage places. A range to perform a test is acquired in the tool storage places. A test tool is stored in a first tool storage place in the tool storage places within the test range by means of a gripper to determine whether the position of the first tool storage place is normal. Moreover, the test tool is stored in a second tool storage place in the tool storage places within the test range by means of a gripper to determine whether the position of the second tool storage place is normal. |
