The present invention relates to a control method for a washing machine where a drum for receiving laundry therein is rotated around a horizontal shaft. The control method for a washing machine improves the unbalance state of the laundry in the drum before a main dewatering process in an optimized method and reduces dewatering time by controlling the rotation of the drum when dewatering the laundry to be different according to the amount of the laundry. |
