PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank and others in which a side wall can be effectively and surely reinforced.SOLUTION: In an LNG tank, a breakwater 2 is fixed on a deck slab 5. The breakwater 2 is provided with a circumferential PC steel material 11 and a longitudinal PC steel material 13. A top end of the longitudinal PC steel material 13 is anchored to a position in a vicinity of a height position A which is the highest among height positions, A, A', A" where a tensile stress generated in the breakwater 2 caused by a bending moment in a vertical surface generated in the breakwater 2 by pre-stress due to the circumferential PC steel material 11 is equal to a tensile strength of concrete of the breakwater 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
