PURPOSE:To obtain an optical information recording medium allowing a recording with a low-energy laser beam and having good film forming properties by laminating a cationic electrolytic polymer film containing an N-ethyl-carbazole and an electrolytically polymerizing monomer as monomer ingredients on a conductive film. CONSTITUTION:This optical information recording medium is obtained by laminating a cationic electrolytic polymer film containing an N-ethyl-carbazole and an electrolyticallypolymerizing monomer as monomer ingredients on a conductive film. The structure of the polymer is not clearly known, but the polymer can be considered as a blend polymer made of a copolymer of an N-ethyl-carbazole and an electrolytically-polymerizing monomer and a homopolymer of a cationic poly(N- ethyl-3,6-carbazoledinyl) and an electrolytically-polymerizing monomer. In the formula, X<-> represents an anion coming from a supporting electrolyte. This electrolytic polymer film is black in color and has absorption characteristics in a laser beam wave range of 780-830nm and an absorption maximum in 750-850nm. The part to be irradiated with a laser beam of said range is thermally decomposed by a thermal energy of the laser beam and, thus, information can be recorded thereon. |
