PURPOSE:To perform formation without inflicting the deterioration of a film substrate and the pollution of a forming liquid by constituting at least one face of a forming liquid holding container with a film substrate face stored with an electrode plate group. CONSTITUTION:A box-shaped forming liquid holding container 8 constituted of three bottom side faces stuck with a rubberlike sticking member 12 and a bottom face is mounted on a film substrate 9 kept in contact with a back reinforcing plate 7, and the film substrate 9 is pinched by a forming liquid holding container 8 and the reinforcing plate 7 with a pressing jig 10. When a battery forming tank with such a structure is used, the back face and the end face of the film substrate 9 are brought into no contact with sulfuric acid even if an electrolyte is filled into the space covered by the forming liquid holding container 8 and the film substrate 9. Formation can be performed without deteriorating the film substrate 9 and tainting the forming liquid. |
