ANTENNA EQUIPMENT FOR INSULATION MONITORING

PURPOSE:To facilitate attachment of an aerial to existing equipment by detecting from the outside of a metallic case a high-frequency electromagnetic field generated by partial discharge in the electric equipment having a charged part enclosed by the metallic case. CONSTITUTION:An electric wire 6 in a case 2 serves as a leak-cable-type aerial capable of picking up a high-frequency electromagnetic field generated in the case 2. A signal received by the aerial is transmitted to a ground terminal 7 fitted in a through hole 2a in the case 2 and into a bottomed cylinder 12 and detected by a slot 13 composing the aerial. Thereby the high-frequency electromagnetic field generated by partial discharge in the case 2 can be detected from the outside of the case 2 only by installing the bottomed cylinder 12 to surround a piercing conductor 9 in the case 2 without other processing. Therefore, this apparatus can be attached easily to existing equipment without power supply stoppage and gas processing.
