PURPOSE:To always stop a pattern at a fixed position by enlarging the diameter of a sprocket wheel, which is engaged to the hole of a no-end belt, rather than that of a belt pulley, making the gear thickness thinner than the diameter of the hole bored on the belt and forming a gear shape to be cross sectionally trapezoidal. CONSTITUTION:Plural no-end belts 34 are provided while boring holes 36 at equal intervals at the both ends and a pair of belt pulleys 26 and 28 with flanges are provided to hold those belts. Then, plural sprocket wheels 32 are provided to be engaged with the holes 36 of the respective no-end belts 34 arranged at the center between the pulleys 26 and 28 and a stepping motor 30 is provided to drive those wheels. The sprocket wheel 32 is composed of a belt driving mechanism with a diameter larger than that of the pulleys 26 and 28. The gear of the sprocket wheel 32 is made trapezoidal and the thickness and width of the gear is smaller than the hole 36. For the state of the pattern on each no-end belt 34, a hole 38 provided at the end part of the belt 34 is detected by position detecting means 25a, 25b and 25c and according to the number of pulses to be supplied from a driving circuit 54 to the motor until stopping the belt 34 after passing the hole 38, the state of the pattern is judged by a discriminating circuit 56. |
