A root crop harvester comprises a frame 1 for attaching to a tractor and is characterized by two power-driven discs 14, 15 mounted on the frame at the side of the tractor. The discs are inclined to each other and feed the crop on to an elevator 17 from whence it passes to containers 22 on a platform 21 carried by the frame. The drives for the discs and elevator originate either from the tractor power-take-off or from a separate drive means. |
