PURPOSE: To make it possible to measure a larger object by providing at least two detectors, a support structure unit, and a system for raising and moving a material. CONSTITUTION: A material 2 or 4 is suspended by a lifting unit 6. In this system, the unit 6 has a rolling drawbridge 16, and hence the material can pass between the two detectors 10A and 10B. A height gage 18 for checking the vertical attitude of the material 1 is fixed to a floor at the inlet of the unit so that the material is not moved to the inside of the structure part of the unit on the floor. The support structure 20 supports both the detectors 10A, 10B and the part 22 of a shape recognition system. The structure 10 also has a role of the part of the position regulator of the detectors 10A, 10B. For the purpose, the structure 20 is laid on the side rail 24.
