A roofing or wall tile of plastics or thin metal is formed with corrugations 7 and at each of two opposite edges with pairs of flanges 1, 2 and lug formations 3, 4 so that tiles interlock between courses. The lugs are formed with holes to receive pins or wires securing the tiles together and to supporting beams. Ribs and grooves may be provided in the corrugations 7 to assist drainage and a transverse step 11 may be formed as a reinforcement. The corrugations on a single tile may be of different widths. The tiles are formed with lips 9, 9<SP>1</SP> on their side edges by which the tiles are overlapped in rows. |
