PURPOSE:To efficiently execute the add-on processing of the copied image of an original and a desired digital image by providing a liquid crystal shutter array where light is selectively transmitted in the optical image forming path of an image forming device which scans and exposes the original. CONSTITUTION:The liquid crystal shutter array 10 is provided on the optical path of an original image. A liquid crystal driver 25 selectively drives a specified cell to be an open/close state by synchronizing image data sent from a liquid crystal controller 24 with a horizontal synchronizing system HSYNC. When a scanner 33 starts the exposure and scanning of the original, the driver 25 drives the array 10 while synchronizing with the rotating speed of a photosensitive drum 12 and forms the original image transmitted through the array 10 on the drum 12 through a light convergent lens 11. At that time, the controller 24 controls the driving of the array 10 based on inputted add-on information. Thus, the prescribed digital image is formed on the drum 12 in parallel with the exposure and scanning of the original. |
