摘要	The cathode of electron gun for cathode ray tube is manufactured by; blackening by annealing in wet hydrogen atmosphere after joining a base metal with sleeve; etching the waste materials formed at surface of base metal by blackening; depositing a cathode material at surface of base metal removed the waste materials. The life of cathod is improved by removing the middle resistor layer (Cr2O3) from the surface of base metal.
