In a device for feeding yarns to a multifeed circular knitting-machine, in which each yarn is trapped between an individual roller and a common endless feed band means, responsive to the yarn tension are provided for displacing the yarn across the surface of the roller and from under the band. The yarn 19 is guided between roller 6 and tape 7 by two arms 25, 35 fixed to a shaft 36. The shaft is adjustably biased by spring 41 in a clockwise direction to effect displacement of the yarn when it slackens, when the shaft rotates cams 47 on the shaft operate a switch to stop the machine and light a lamp 45.
