Concentration of polyurethane dispersions. To an emulsifier-free polyurethane dispersion obtd. from higher mol.cpds. with reactive H-atoms, mol.wt. 300-20,000, polyisocyanates and opt. chain extenders, there is added a creaming agent (known per se), whereupon the higher-concentrated phase which then forms is separated from the lower-concentrated phase. The creaming agent may be sodium alginate. |
