Welding wire filler hard surfacing grey cast - iron

Welding wire for electro-slag welding of grey cast iron, for hard-surfacing or eliminating casting irregularities, consists of low C steel sheath and powdery filler containing 5.6-9% Ca-Si, 3-5.1% graphite, 0.5-1.3% ferromanganese, 0.8-1.4% ferrotitanium and 7.6-16.1% Fe (calc. on wt. of wire). Filler composition ensures a pearlite structure in the metal matrix of the welding seam.
