PURPOSE:To improve the front wheel following performance of a rear wheel by constructing a vehicular front-rear wheel steering gear in such a way as to detect a front wheel steering angle and input this front wheel steering angle into a rear wheel steering actuator control device after passing it through a low-pass filter. CONSTITUTION:The speed of a front wheel 11 detected by a speed meter 75 is inputted into a control device 79. Simultaneously, the steering angle of the front wheel 11 detected by a steering angle detector 77, is inputted into the control device 79 after the high frequency signal thereof generated in association with the jogging of the front wheel 11 is removed by passing through a low-pass filter 86. The steering position of a rear wheel detected by a rear wheel position detector 88 is also inputted into the control device 79. On the basis of these input signals, the control device 79 outputs the steering command signal of the rear wheel 27 into a steering actuator 52. With this constitution, the high frequency signal generated in association with the jogging of the front wheel is removed to allow the rear wheel to follow the front wheel smoothly. |
