<p>The sidecar attachment for a bicycle or motorcycle has adjustable track and can be folded up when not in use. The sidecar is clamped to the upper (1) and lower (2) frames by two clamping plates, one having semicircular depressions which fit around the frame tubes. Coupling bolts draw the two plates together. An extension tube is attached to the flat plate by a screw. The fork (12) for the sidecar wheel (15) is connected to the other end of the tube by a wing nut and bolt. Crown-headed spring clips are seated between the screws and the wing nuts. A seat is suspended between the inside of the wheel fork (12) and the longitudinal tube (20) of the load-carrying frame.</p> |
