<p>1381752 Refuse containers R NOLTING and F STREUBER [trading as SULO EISENWERK STREUBER & LOHMANN] 20 Oct 1972 [11 Nov 1971] 48303/72 Heading A4A [Also in Divisions B7 and B8] A large capacity refuse container is provided with a rim profile 8 which may be engaged at one side 7 by a lift and tip mechanism of a collector vehicle, the rim profile 8 is of inverted U-section and, along with vertically extending and tapering stiffening ribs 9 at side 7, is formed integrally with the container side wall 5, the latter being specially thickened at 11, 12, 13. The rim profile may extend about the whole container. The container is of synthetic thermoplastic material and is provided with side hinged lids 1, 2; two or four castors 3 and a brake 4 along with guide . handles 6 may be provided. The container may be formed of two or more separable sections Fig.5 (not shown) some of which may act individually as refuse containers. The spacing between the stiffening ribs 9 is preferably constant.</p> |
