PURPOSE:To even or remove the liquid film on the drum surface prior to electric charging and prevent the occurrence of uneven densities of copies by providing a blade along the drum surface in the intermediate position of a squeeze roller and charging corona. CONSTITUTION:A blade BL94 which is contactable and detachable with and from the drum surface is provided in the intermediate position of a squeeze roller 83 and charging corona 84. At the developing and transfer processing, BL82 and 94 are detached from the drum surface. After the final end E of the image forming region on the drum surface in the state right after the transfer passes the position of BL82 and before the leading end S1 of the next image forming region on the drum in the state before charging arrives at the position of BL82, BL82 is press-contacted with the drum surface and its position is let P. After the position P passes the position of BL94 and before the leading end S1 arrives, BL94 is press-contacted with the drum surface and its position is let P1. Before the leading end S of the region carrying toner images arrives by undergoing copying process, BL82 and 94 are detached from the drum surface. |
