The shackle comprises a U-shaped body (1) of resilient material with aligned holes (2,3) for receiving a shackle-pin (4). The shackle body is provided with a pair of convexities in the form of aligned protuberances (5) one on each side of the hole. The shackle-pin has a pair of cooperating concavities in the form of aligned grooves (6) one on each side of the pin shank (7) and cut in the pin head (8). The pin is inserted through a hole in the body and into the screw-threaded hole. The pin is then tightened until the head abuts the body. The tightening is continued until the protuberances click into place as they enter the grooves. |
