PURPOSE:To ensure that the water produced by dewfall on the surface of a pipe installed in the vicinity of a heat exchanger and on the surface of a valve body and the like flows into an auxiliary drain pan by means of a dew trap to thereby prevent the dewfall on the inner surface of the dew trap and enable the water to be trapped without allowing it to leak thereunder. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger 16 within a space 15 for pipings has an inlet riser pipe 21 and an outlet riser pipe 23 connected thereto, and also an auxiliary drain pan 24 is fitted to the pipes 21 and 23. Further, two dew traps 25 are fitted above the drain pan 24. Each of the dew traps 25 is provided with a heat insulation material 30 applied on the inner surface thereof and is disposed so as to surround the pipe 21 and 23, respectively. The heat insulation materials 30 are each fixed by soldering to the pipes 21 and 23, respectively above the dew trap 25. Folded pieces 27 and 29 are attached to the underside of the dew trap 25, one folded piece 27 being fitted to the pan 24, while the other folded piece 29 being secured to the dew trap 25, with the folded piece 27 being located inside the folded piece 29. It is possible to ensure that the water produced by dewfall on the surfaces of pipings located near the heat exchanger and on the surface of the valve body 22 flows into the drain pan 24 by means of the dew traps. |
