PURPOSE: To prepare a trapezoid filling by a memory efficient and processor efficient method so as to increase the graphic throughput of a processor by constructing a specified microcoding processor. CONSTITUTION: The set of addresses X1 and X2 for indicating the places of the start point 30 and the end point 31 of one of the parallel sides of a trapezoid are received, inclination data DX1 for indicating inclination from the start point 30 to the start point inside the next picture element row are received and the inclination data DX2 for indicating the inclination from the end point 31 to the end point inside the next picture element row are received. Then, an instruction for preparing the value of a picture element for the place of the selected picture element between the start point and the end point of the same picture element row is generated, the start point and start point inclination data present under the control of the instruction generated so as to prepare a new start point are increased and the end point and end point inclination data present under the control of the instruction generated so as to prepare a new end point are increased. Thus, the trapezoid filling is prepared by the efficient method. |
