PURPOSE:To attain movement correction to a data required for movement correction in response to external designation correction by generating and applying a control signal to a picture memory so as to attain one-frame delay for movement correction. CONSTITUTION:When a data (television signal) inputted from an input terminal 55 of a picture memory 1a is a data requiring to apply moving correction, the movement required for the movement correction is separately given and inputted to an input terminal 40 of a variable delay control circuit 4 and receives variable delay altogether in a range of + or -alphaH. As a result, a data Dout outputted from an output terminal 56 of the picture memory 1b is a signal subject to delay in response to the above movement within a range of just (2 field+ or -alphaH), that is, (1 frame+ or -alphaH) with respect to a data Din inputted from the input terminal 55a of the picture memory 1a and movement correction is attained. |
