PURPOSE:To allow easy molding of a magnetic molded body of even complicated structure by injection-molding mixed material of magnetic powder and organic binder in a magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic powder including ferrite or rare-earth metals such as samarium and cobalt is mixed with organic binder suitable selection of resins such as attacktic polypropylene, polystylene and polyethylene; various kinds of wax and plasticizer and kneaded together under heating using an extruder and granulated with a granulating machine. This granulated, mixed material is injection-molded in a magnetic field with an injection molding machine having the function to generate a magnetic field to orient magnetic powder along the magnetic field. Then, after being demagnetized, the molded body is taken out from the injection molding machine, degreased to remove organic binder, sintered to obtain a magnetic molded body and finally again magnetized to acquire a permanent magnet. |
