PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic head which does not require severer production conditions, obviates the generation of a pseudo peak, is inexpensive and deals with a high recording density by forming a nonmagnetic element film between a thin ferromagnetic metallic film and ferromagnetic oxide. CONSTITUTION:The film of the nonmagnetic element 3 is formed to 200-2,000Angstrom between the ferromagnetic oxide and thin ferromagnetic metallic film of the magnetic head of a composite type which deals with the high recording density. The elements of the nonmagnetic element film are exemplified by Cr, Ti, Si, Mn, Ge, Ga, Mo, etc. The magnetic head having no pseudo peak is thereby stably and inexpensively obtd. |
